CrossFit

Our traditional CrossFit workouts focus on strength, conditioning, and mobility. These workouts combine gymnastics, weightlifting, and metabolic conditioning in varying degrees and duration to create unparalleled results. From the basic air squat all the way to the very technical muscle up and Olympic lifts, we utilize them all and make it workable for anyone at any level of fitness. We build strength, endurance, agility, technical ability, and general awareness of body and mind by training movements that support functional ability and translate to real life. And of course, there are the aesthetic benefits, too.

Barbell Club

South Tampa CrossFit’s Barbell Club is our sport specific class designed to improve the classic Olympic lifts, the snatch and the clean and jerk. We have found that the most successful CrossFit athletes have built a strong technical foundation in these 2 lifts. Our programming follows set cycles ranging from the introductory level to more advanced cycles. Our Barbell Club is great whether you are looking to improve your technique, proficiency, strength, or pursuing Olympic Weightlifting as a sport.

Foundations

While high intensity workouts are extremely effective as well as fun, it is critically important to develop proper mechanics and consistency first. For that reason, we have created a platform that allows us to smoothly, effectively and quickly introduce each individual, no matter their fitness background, to our group classes. Specifically, you will have a personal coach to teach you correct movement and a community to motivate you through your fitness journey.

STC Kids

CrossFit Kids is an exciting and fun way for kids to exercise and learn healthy lifestyle habits. Our coaches are CrossFit Kids certified and will provide a safe and fun environment that guarantees success for all ability and experience levels. We will focus on good movement, having fun, teamwork, and confidence building. The program will be based primarily on running, drills, games, body weight exercises, tumbling, etc. During each workout, your kids will learn and practice functional movements involving exercises that are fundamental to all things that kids need to do when they play. They will participate in fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results and prepare them to be well-rounded athletes. They will pull, push, run, throw, climb, lift, and jump. There will be drills designed to help develop critical thinking and reasoning skills, instill confidence, and learn the value of leadership and teamwork. Your kids will learn healthy lifestyle practices that will last a lifetime.

Personal Training

Our personal training sessions are the most effective and efficient way to achieve your personal fitness goals, whether you’re just starting out on your fitness journey, or an experienced athlete with the goal to become a more well-rounded athlete with specialized, individual training. Our world-class coaches will work with you to help define your goals, develop a specific program and be your personal guide.
